Michelle Simpson is a talented, Harley loving, blues rock singer and songwriter currently residing in Kamloops B.C. Michelle started singing at the age of 6 in her church choir. Her vocals have developed into the style of Etta James and are influenced by the greats Koko Taylor and Janis Joplin. Her music is classic 1960’s blues rock with modern guitar tones and themes. Michelle is currently ranked as the #1 Classic Rock Artist on indiecharts.com.
Michelle participated in the HMP Digital Tour at the end of February 2014. She will be releasing the first single, "Waiting By The Phone.” It was produced in L.A., at Little Hipster Music by Mr. David Snow. Michelle is also working on a full length rock album. It is as of yet untitled but it will be recorded and produced by Jean Francois Roy of JFR in Edmonton, Alberta.
Michelle Simpson’s 2005 album, "On The Road Again", is in rotations on over 150 radio stations in Canada, America, Spain, France, Italy, Denmark, Ireland, and Australia. She loves to perform and has performed over 800 shows. She has received accolades from near and far. Three of her entries were in the top five of the 2013 Kokanee “It’s the beer out here” contest.
In 2012, she received the Rock Artist of the Year- Blues Artist award from Pirate Radio of the Treasure Coast, in St. Lucia, Florida.
