TORONTO,ON (November 1,2017) – D-Day, one of Ottawa’s most popular performers, is pleased to announce the release of his first single ‘Ghetto Salsa’, which kicks off the release of his first solo project, Exit Strategy.
“I wanted to do something different, something real” when asked about his inspiration on creating the 3-song EP including ‘Ghetto Salsa’. “This is my most conscious piece of work…I got the state of the world to thank”. Visuals for the other two singles, ‘Can’t Mess Wit Me’ and ‘See The Light’ will be dropping on consecutive 1st of the months (December 1st and January 1st).

Hailing from the west end of Ottawa, D-Day began freestyle battling at the age of 13 with close friends notably Shylock, another known Ottawa rapper who was shot and killed mid-2013. Since then he had joined a group, West Infamy, and is currently in Toronto making appearances in the biggest showcases in the city. and music that everyone can listen to and enjoy.
